State Tax Service of Ukraine reminds of the need to take care in advance of the next payment for licenses for production, wholesale, retail sale of fuel and fuel storage, as well as provide documents to the licensing authority defined by the Law of Ukraine as of 19.121995 № 481 “On the state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl alcohol, cognac and fruit, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, liquids used in electronic cigarettes and fuel”.
In the absence of the business entity’s application to the licensing authority to make the next payment for the license on the expiration date of prepayment, such license will be suspended according to requirements of the Law.
In addition, please note that in connection with entry into force of Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of 23.12.2020 № 1308 “On amendments to Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of 05.08.2015 № 609”, territorial bodies of the STS are determined as licensing authorities from January 1, 2021, particularly for the wholesale of fuel.
As follows, applications for licenses for the fuel production should be sent to the State Tax Service of Ukraine; applications for licenses for the wholesale, retail sale of fuel and fuel storage should be sent to the territorial bodies of the STS at the place of entrepreneurial activity.
