According to Paragraph 61 Sub-section 10 Section XX “TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS” of the Tax Code of Ukraine, from 01.01.2021 to 01.01.2022 registrars of settlement operations and / or its software version are not used by single tax payers of Group II – IV (individuals-entrepreneurs), whose amount of income during the calendar year does not exceed amount of income not exceeding 220 times the minimum wage established by law on January 1 of the tax (reporting) year, regardless of the chosen type of activity, except for those who carry out:
sale of technically complex household products subject to warranty repair;
sale of medicines, medical devices and provision of paid services in the health care sphere;
sale of jewelry and household products made of precious metals, precious stones, precious stones of organogenic formation and semi-precious stones.
If the single tax payer of Group II – IV (individuals-entrepreneurs) in the calendar year exceeds amount of income not exceeding 220 times the minimum wage established by law on January 1 of the tax (reporting) year, the use of registrar of settlement operations and / or its software version for such single tax payer is mandatory.
Use of registrar of settlement operations and / or its software version begins on the first day of the first month of quarter following the occurrence of such excess and continues in all subsequent tax periods during entity’s registration as the single tax payer.
Given the above specified, please note that from 01.01.2022, the range of business entities (individuals-entrepreneurs) that must use registrars of settlement operations and / or its software version will be significantly expanded.
Also, there is a reminder of the need for early registration of registrars of settlement operations and / or its software version at the supervisory authorities in order to comply with current Ukrainian legislation.
