Citizens and employees of the State Tax Service!
State Tax Service of Ukraine, in compliance with the Law of Ukraine “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On corruption prevention” regarding the whistleblowers” as of 17.10.2019 № 198-IX, ensured definition of internal procedures and mechanisms for receiving and reviewing reports on possible facts of corruption or corruption-related offenses, other violations of the Law of Ukraine “On corruption prevention” (hereinafter – the Law) committed by employees of the State Tax Service, as well as inspection and response on such reports.
These procedures and mechanisms are disclosed in detail in the Procedure for organizing work with corruption reports regarding the State Tax Service, introduced by whistleblowers, which is approved by Order of the State Tax Service as of 27.02.2020 № 108 (hereinafter – the Procedure).
Specifically, in order to comply with requirements of the Procedure, a hotline has been provided, using which it is possible to leave a message about possible facts of corruption or corruption-related offenses, other violations of the Law by the STS employees, if such information became known to person in connection with employment, professional, economic, public, scientific activity, service or training or participation in procedures provided by the law which are mandatory for the beginning of such activity, service or training.
Citizens can leave such messages by contacting the anti-corruption the “Pulse” service on the multi-channel phone number 0 800 501 007 and choosing direction “5” on the interactive voice answering machine.
Employees of the State Tax Service can report about possible facts of committing corruption or other corruption-related offenses by other employees, other violations of the Law, using the specified service by selecting direction “7” on the interactive voice answering machine.
Please take into account that according to requirements of the Law, such reports (information messages) must be left in the presence of evidence that a person really has reliable information.
Reports (information messages) can be left without indication of authorship (anonymously). However, such notification will only be considered if the provided information relates to a specific person and contains factual data that can be verified.
In case of observance of the specified requirements the reports (information messages) will be considered and processed in the order and terms determined by the Law.
Response about the review and processing results of the left report (information message) will be sent to the postal address or e-mail to which it can be sent.
