Article 25 of the Law of Ukraine “On corruption prevention” stipulates that:
The following is forbidden for persons specified in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 Article 3 of the Law:
- to involve in other paid activities (except for teaching, scientific and creative activities, medical practice, instructional and judicial practice in sports) or entrepreneurial activities, unless otherwise is provided by the Constitution or Laws of Ukraine;
- to be a member of board, other executive or control bodies, supervisory board of enterprise or organization that aims to make a profit (except when persons perform management functions of shares (plots, units) owned by the state or local community and represent interests of the state or territorial community in a council (supervisory board), audit commission of the economic organization), unless otherwise is provided by the Constitution or Laws of Ukraine.
Comparison of definitions!
Part-time:
- other paid work in a particular institution;
- in free time from the main work;
- wages are accrued;
- separate employment contract.
Combination:
- additional paid work in the same institution;
- working hours set for the main work;
- surcharge is set;
- Order on assignment of duties in the order of combination.
Allowed types of paid activities:
- teaching;
- scientific;
- creative;
- medical practice;
- instructor and referee practice in sports.
Liability for violation of restrictions (Article 1724 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses):
- fine of three hundred to five hundred non-taxable minimum incomes;
- confiscation of income.
