Specialists of the State Tax Service took part in the international meeting on preparation and conducting of the Global Survey in Ukraine within framework of the METS project

As a part of the international technical assistance project "Swedish-Ukrainian partnership for a modern and efficient tax service - METS" (hereinafter - METS project) from August 29 to September 4, 2022 a working meetings were held on the preparation and conducting of the global survey in Ukraine on the assessment of the State Tax Service by taxpayers.

Participants of the events were the Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Natalia Kalenichenko, representatives of the Information and Reference Department, o Tax Services Department, Corruption Prevention and Detection Department of the State Tax Service, experts of the Tax Agency of Sweden and the research agency "InfoSapiens ".

Main focus, during the meetings, was on forming common views on the goals and ways of implementing Component 2 "Taxpayer Orientation" of the METS project, ensuring effective and efficient development in providing services to taxpayers in order to obtain a high level of public trust, as well as agreeing content and plan for conducting the Global Survey of Taxpayers and the Behavioral Survey.

At the suggestion of experts of the Tax Agency of Sweden, a working meeting was held with representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Poland and the National Revenue Administration of Poland, who presented their own working experience in conducting surveys and using their results in forming a strategy for working with taxpayers and improving taxpayer service activities.

Meeting participants discussed experience, values, strategy, principles of management and attitude towards taxpayers that exist in Sweden and Ukraine. Attention was also paid to ways of improving the development processes of electronic services, internal and external communications in the State Tax Service.

Key areas and participants of the Global Survey of Taxpayers were also determined, mechanisms for analyzing the survey results, their use and influence on the formation of a strategy of high level of trust to the State Tax Service and ways of further cooperation of the State Tax Service with the Swedish Tax Agency were discussed.
