Representatives of the State Tax Service and the Business Ombudsman Council considered appeals from taxpayers on tax topicsChapter: News

Regular meeting of expert groups of the State Tax Service and the Business Ombudsman Council was held within framework of activities of the Communication tax platform with participation of acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Yevhenii Sokur, Business ombudsman Roman Vashchuk, deputy business ombudsman Tetiana Korotka. Participants considered cases from taxpayers that are sent to the Council.

Value added tax administration, enforcement of court decisions by the Tax Service were particularly discussed in the course of work. Systemic questions in segment of registration suspension of tax invoices and conduction of tax audits were also discussed.

"State Tax Service is always open to a dialogue with the Business Ombudsman Council, thanks to which we have already managed to resolve a number of controversial questions of payers. It is gratifying that the Business ombudsman notes positive tendencies in the decrease in number of complaints regarding registration suspension of tax invoices/adjustment calculations, enforcement of court decisions by tax authorities in general, which indicates settlement of certain systemic questions. I am sure that effectiveness of our cooperation is obvious and work on resolving problematic questions of payers will be effective in the future" – stated acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Yevhenii Sokur.

Tax officials provided comprehensive answers to questions of representatives of the Council, and advised on certain taxation questions. For some of them, agreement was reached for a more detailed consideration and notification of decisions made to the Business Ombudsman Council.

In addition, representatives of the State Tax Service spoke about measures that the Service's specialists are actively working on in order to improve tax administration processes.
