Peculiarities of conducting control and verification work in 2024 – joint webinar of the State Tax Service and Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine

Today, participants of joint online webinar of the State Tax Service and Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine talked about peculiarities and specifics of control and verification work by tax authorities during the martial law in 2024.

Representatives of the State Tax Service explained mechanism and criteria for selecting business entities for their inclusion in the plan-schedule of audits, risks by which payers are selected for audits. It was also about procedure and deadlines for making changes to the plan-schedule, grounds for postponing scheduled audit, reasons and documentation for stopping audit in case of obstacles to its conduction, etc.

Speakers, in particular, focused attention of those present on the most common typical types of violations detected by tax officials during audits and their connection with risks, which were basis for inclusion in the plan-schedule. Participants also informed about renewal of unscheduled audits and grounds for their conduction.

Tax officials, during the webinar, emphasized that due to the chatbot "SKARGA KPR DPS", it is possible at any time of the day, 24/7 and in any place to inform about alleged groundless control and verification measures conducted by territorial bodies of the State Tax Service during tax audits.
