Representatives of the State Tax Service and Business Ombudsman Council discussed taxation matters

Today, representatives of the State Tax Service and Business Ombudsman Council discussed topical taxation matters with which taxpayers addressed the Business Ombudsman Council during meeting of expert groups with participation of acting Deputy Head of the State Tax Service Yevhenii Sokur and Business Ombudsman Roman Vashchuk.

As Yevhenii Sokur noted, as of today cooperation between the Tax Service and the Business Ombudsman Council is effective, as evidenced by the dynamics of receipt of applications. Since the beginning of this year, 7 meetings of expert councils have been held, at which appeals from 224 companies have been considered.

"Our meetings are always constructive, as they allow us to identify those moments where we need to work with you. It is good that more than a half of decisions are made positively in favor of payer, and this shows that the Business Ombudsman Council works professionally on the selection of appeals from payers who have potential and comply with tax legislation, and the State Tax Service, in turn, promptly processes all risks and provides necessary information, which helps impartial resolution of cases" – stated Yevhenii Sokur.

He also focused on the implementation of experimental project on functioning of tax risk management system, approved by the Government at the end of last month. According to him, it lays foundations of the CRM program in work of the Tax Service and is basis for reformatting its activities.

Participants, during the meeting, discussed value added tax administration and registration suspension of tax invoices. State of execution of court decisions by the Tax Service, exchange of information with customs authorities were also discussed.

Representatives of the State Tax Service provided answers to taxpayers' questions and explained certain norms of tax legislation.
