“Actual questions regarding the VAT and reporting on controlled foreign companies” – joint webinar of the State Tax Service and Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine

Today, participants of online webinar of the State Tax Service and Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine talked about actual questions related to the VAT and reporting on controlled foreign companies.

Representatives of the State Tax Service provided answers to relevant VAT questions that may arise for payers in connection with entry into force of Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine № 400 as of 09.08.2024 "On amendments to certain regulatory acts of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine". Specifics of filling out Annex 2 to the value added tax declaration, taking into account changes introduced by the specified Order, have been clarified. 

Participants were informed about the reporting results and reporting on controlled foreign companies. Representatives of the State Tax Service talked about analysis of reports on controlled foreign companies, focused on the TOP-10 mistakes that taxpayers make in the reporting process and about financial responsibility for tax violations.

During event, representatives of the State Tax Service provided practical recommendations to the event participants regarding certain taxation issues.
