Order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine as of 03.09.2021 № 496 “On approval of Procedure for accounting of inventories for individuals – entrepreneurs, including single tax payers” which was registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 02.11.2021 № 1411/37033 entered into force (hereinafter – Order № 496).
Please note that Procedure № 496 does not apply to single taxpayers of Group I.
Of the total number of single taxpayers of Groups II – IV, the Procedure № 496 applies only to taxpayers specified in Paragraph 61 Sub-section 10 Section XX of the Tax Code of Ukraine, who carry out:
sale of technically complex household products subject to warranty repair;
sale of medicines, medical devices;
sale of jewelry and household products made of precious metals, precious stones, precious stones of organogenic formation and semi-precious stones.
Procedure № 496 extends its effect to individuals – entrepreneurs of the single taxpayers Group III registered as the VAT payers.
At the same time, the Procedure № 496 establishes obligation to keep inventory records at the place of their sale for individuals – entrepreneurs who use general taxation system and carry out their activities in trade, catering and services.
