Local budgets received 5 billion UAH of the land payment
Taxpayers transferred 5 043.0 million UAH of the land payment to the local budgets during January-February 2020. Compared to the corresponding period of 2019, the paid amount has increased by 5.2% or 250.1 million UAH. Local budgets received 4 792.9 million UAH in January-February 2019.
Legal entities transferred the biggest amount of the land payment, specifically 92.8% or 4 680.2 million UAH. This is 5% or 223.7 million UAH more compared to the corresponding period of 2019.
Individuals replenished local treasuries by 362.8 million UAH – this is 7.85% or 26.4 million UAH higher than figures in 2019.
State Tax Service conducts work to establish constructive cooperation between the STS territorial bodies and local authorities.
It should be reminded that according to norms of the Tax Code of Ukraine, the landowners and land users pay the land tax from the date of (state registration) ownership or right to use the land.
Legal entities – land tax payers independently calculate amount of tax annually as of the 1st of January and submit the tax declaration for the current year to the tax authorities at location of the land plots not later than the 20th of February of current year. This exempts the one from submitting such reports on a monthly basis.
