State Tax Service launches another new electronic service for business – for those working in spheres of fuel, alcohol, tobacco products and e-cigarette liquids. It will help entrepreneurs not to miss important changes in the licensing data. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service Lesya Karnaukh on the Facebook page.
"It is not always easy for business to keep track of all changes in documents and registers. Especially when it comes to licenses, RRO/PRRO and constant data updates" – noted acting Head of the State Tax Service.
According to her, the new electronic service will automatically send notifications to payers and remind them of the need to update information in the licensee registers after changes in the RRO/PRRO, settlement transaction accounting books or settlement books.
If entrepreneur has such changes, then information should be updated in the Unified register of licensees:
- Unified register of licensees and places of fuel circulation;
- Unified register of licensees for production and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic distillates, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, tobacco raw materials and liquids used in electronic cigarettes.
Why is this important?
If information is not updated, the business entity can receive significant fines – up to 200% of the sold product cost. Or even lose licenses due to repeated violations.
According to Lesya Karnaukh, the State Tax Service today is not only about control. It is primarily about modern services.
"For over 1.5 years, we have been actively and consistently transforming work of the Tax Service. Interaction with each taxpayer should be more transparent, convenient and understandable. This is one of the important un-shadowing components of the economy" – emphasized acting Head of the State Tax Service.
