Local budgets received 97 million UAH of parking fees in January – May of this year. This is 11% more than in the same period last year. Last year, this amount was 87.4 million UAH.

609 official operators and owners of parking lots provided stable income to budgets.

Leading regions in terms of payment volumes:

- Odesa region – 33.6 million UAH,

- Lviv region – 25.3 million UAH,

- Dnipropetrovsk region – 23.1 million UAH.

Parking fees are fully allocated to local budgets. This is financial resource for development of urban infrastructure and community improvement.

Reminder.

Fee payers are legal entities and individuals-entrepreneurs who, according to decisions of local government bodies, organize and carry out activities to ensure parking of vehicles.

Fee is not paid from land plots allocated for free parking of vehicles of drivers with disabilities or drivers transporting disabled persons.

Such places must be at least 10% of the total number of parking spaces in specially equipped or allocated areas, but not less than one place. These places must be marked with special road signs and/or road markings.
