General fund of the state budget received 717.7 billion UAH of taxes and levies controlled by the State Tax Service in the first half of the year. Compared to the first half of the last year, this is +70.6 billion UAH (+10.9%). This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.
“The war affects economy every day. Destroyed enterprises, damaged energy facilities, changed logistics – all this inevitably affects work of business. But thank to every business, every enterprise, every payer, who continues to fulfill their obligations and fill the budget” – she stated.
The largest sources of budget funding for the first half of the year:
- personal income tax – 204.9 billion UAH (+37.1 billion UAH);
- corporate income tax – 186.4 billion UAH (+30.7 billion UAH);
- VAT (including budget reimbursement) – 160.0 billion UAH (+3.9 billion UAH);
- excise tax on goods produced in Ukraine – 66.1 billion UAH (+9.6 billion UAH);
- rent – 28.8 billion UAH (+7.5 billion UAH).
General fund of the state budget received 133.0 billion UAH in June. Despite all the military challenges, revenues exceeded figure for June of the last year by 6.5 billion UAH (+5.1%).
“Business responsibility and professional work of the State Tax Service’s team allow us to ensure financial stability of the state. This is what will help the country survive” – she added.
