Last year, the State Tax Service opened Tax Consultant Offices in 20 regions. During this time, specialists provided 185 thousand consultations. And these are not just numbers. Behind each consultation is a person’s fate, their work, own business, property, plans and often a new beginning. This was informed by acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh.

According to her, the new service approach has allowed to remove barriers between the taxpayers and the Tax Service. And the most importantly, it has given opportunity to receive high-quality, professional and free consultation. 

“Good Tax Service is not one that never has questions. But one that it is possible to feel comfortable coming to with any tax question. And always get not a response, but a clear answer. The new format of working with the taxpayers is in great demand. We are developing it both online and offline. 92 online points are already operating, and we are expanding network of stationary offices” – Lesya Karnaukh noted.    

The most requested topics by the taxpayers:

- payment of taxes and levies by individuals (43.4%);

- use of the Electronic cabinet services (8.1%);

- settlement of tax debt (7.5%).

Separate important direction is support for veterans and grant recipients.

Specialists of the State Tax Service have already provided almost 1.3 thousand specialized consultations for defenders and their families.

36 veterans were employed in the State Tax Service’s units, 34 of them directly as moderators of the Offices.

“Good state service is when a person is not alone with a problem. And knows where they will be helped to find a solution” – Lesya Karnaukh emphasized.
