Amount of accrued value added tax has amounted to 19.6 billion UAH in August 2019

19.6 billion UAH of the value added tax has been accrued according to the results of the declaration in August 2019. This is 3.7 billion UAH more than the same period last year. In August 2018, this figure was 15.9 billion UAH.

The biggest increase in accruals compared to last year has occurred in the following sectors of economy:

chief departments (head-offices) - an increase of almost 1.2 billion UAH;

electricity trade - 526.5 million UAH;

freight rail transport - 342.9 million UAH;

cultivation of cereals (except rice), legumes and oilseeds - 228.7 million UAH.

The tax burden in August 2019 is 2.6%, which is 0.3% more than in the same period last year.

In August 2019 collection of the VAT is expected with consideration of the budgetary compensation in the amount of 8.2 billion UAH or 105.1% of the indicator.
