The STS and its territorial bodies will gain status of the single legal entity

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft Law “On amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine and some other Laws of Ukraine due to the administrative reform”. According to the document, the STS will work as a single legal entity. Its territorial bodies will become separate subdivisions, not legal entities as they are today.

At present, the STS has 28 legal entities: 25 are Main Directorates in regions, the Large Taxpayers Office, Information and Reference Department and central office. As soon as Law will become valid the specified 28 legal entities will be merged into one - single legal entity.
