The State tax service will cooperate with the law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies in order to eradicate any corruption manifestations in the STS permanently. This was stated by Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov on the air of one TV channel. Chairman of the State tax service particularly emphasized that all materials and results of the audit will be sent to the law enforcement agencies.

“We started a mass counteraction against corruption and other negative phenomena. We do not stand aside. The government, President, Verkhovna Rada, law enforcement agencies and we are doing our best. Situation collapsed and we started to implement specific cases. We are in full coordination with various law enforcement agencies. That is why I appeal to our employees who have not yet realized that the situation has changed. They must understand this and stop any corruption actions that they have ever committed. It is necessary to stop scaring the business, resort to extortions and work exclusively for the state” – commented Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov.

In addition, to fulfill the Order of the Prime Minister Oleksii Honcharuk, the Tax service has already started work on developing a recertification plan for all employees of the STS of Ukraine which should be submitted for consideration to the Cabinet of Ministers within two weeks.

According to the local taxes, the annual plan has been completed in 11 months. That is, as of December 1, 2019 the Tax service collected more funds than local councils expected to receive for the whole year.

According to Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov such results were achieved due to analytical work which has increased significantly in the second half of 2019.

Serhii Verlanov also noted that by strengthening the analytical work of the STS, the number of audits was reduced. In particular, the number of scheduled audits in 2019 has decreased by 14% compared to 2018. This year, the number of scheduled audits will be reduced by another 20%.
