Citizens of Ukraine declared 101.8 billion UAH of income

Since the beginning of 2019, Ukrainian citizens have submitted more than 638 thousand of property declarations. In total, the amount of 101.8 billion UAH of income earned in 2018 was declared. This is 39% more than in 2018 regarding the received income over the previous year.

Accordingly, amount of the personal income tax declared by the taxpayers has increased. It reached more than 3.4 billion UAH – this is 46% more than in the previous year. Amount of the military levy has also increased (by 63%) and has amounted nearly 494 million UAH.

Increase in the number of submitted declarations occurred almost in all regions of Ukraine, which led to the increase in tax revenues to the budget.

“Level of citizens’ tax culture is increasing. Relevant results are the proof. In turn, the STS promotes information to Ukrainians as much as possible and provides quality service, so that the declaration procedure is accessible and as convenient as possible for all citizens” – noted Chairman of the STS Serhii Verlanov.
