STS received nearly 3 thousand citizens’ appeals and requests for public information in the 1st quarter

STS continues to perform its duties as defined by the current legislation of Ukraine despite the quarantine measures.

Specifically, STS ensures the rights of taxpayers and citizens to submit appeals and requests for public information received by the STS by means of e-mail and mail during the quarantine.

STS received 0.9 thousand citizens’ appeals and requests for public information in January 2020 and 1.1 thousand in March 2020. In total, 2.9 thousand citizens’ appeals and requests for public information were registered during January and March 2020.

Also, data sets in the form of open data, managed by the STS, are updated on the Unified State Open Data Portal (data.gov.ua) and official web portal of the SFS (tax.gov.ua).

It should be reminded that citizens’ appeals are submitted to the e-mail address: zvernennya_dps@tax.gov.ua stating the surname, first name, patronymic, place of residence (registration), substance of raised issue, date and personal signature, in the form of copy or photocopy.

Requests for public information should be sent to the e-mail box publicinfo_dps@tax.gov.ua.

Legal and self-employed individuals should apply to the email box post@tax.gov.ua.

At the same time, we draw attention to the fact that citizens’ appeals and requests for public information on state customs policy should be sent to the State Customs Service of Ukraine and on matters within the competence of the State Fiscal Service to the SFS.
