STS received 538 requests for public information during the 1st quarter of 2020

State Tax Service of Ukraine received 538 requests for public information during January – March 2020.

Of the total number, 136 requests were received by mail, 367 by e-mail and 35 by requester personally.

Individuals sent the biggest part, specifically 323 requests for public information. Legal entities sent 176 requests for public information during the first quarter of 2020; associations of citizens without the status legal entity – 30 requests; media representatives – 9 requests.

According to results of processing of the specified requests: 333 requests were satisfied with the provision of information; 74 requests were denied due to the requests’ inconsistency with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine as of 13.01.2011 № 2939-IV “On access to public information”; 131 requests were sent to the addressee.
