STS issued 410 thousand qualified public key certificates free of charge

150 thousand clients used services of the qualified provider of electronic trust services IDD STS during January – April 2020. They received 410 thousand qualified public key certificates free of charge.

Most often, individuals applied for the keys. Almost 88 thousand individuals received 176.9 qualified certificates during the specified period.

The number of legal entities amounted 62 thousand. They received 233 thousand qualified certificates.

Almost 50.5 thousand clients used the electronic service of certificate re-formation by the electronic request, of which 24.9 thousand – legal entities and 25.6 thousand – individuals. 102.2 thousand certificates were generated by the electronic requests.

In total, almost 8.6 million qualified public key certificates have been issued since the beginning of provider’s activity.

It should be reminded that using the re- formation of certificates by the electronic request, each client has the opportunity to obtain new certificate which will be valid for up to 2 years independently, in 24/7 mode and most importantly – remotely, within 2-3 minutes.

As follows, clients of the center do not need to spend their time and personally visit the center to obtain certificate.

Generate new certificates can users who have:

valid certificates (for example, there are a few days left until the expiration of certificates);

unchanged registration data (name, address of registration of residence, the only state register code of enterprises and organizations of Ukraine of the organization, etc.);

not compromised personal key, available only to the user.
