Oleksiy Lyubchenko had a meeting with Chairman of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Dmytro Oliynyk

Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko and Chairman of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU) discussed matters for supporting the development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine.

“State Tax Service of Ukraine is interested in establishing a successful and profitable functioning of entrepreneurship in Ukraine. This creates new jobs, contributes to the growth of budget revenues and, accordingly, development of domestic economy. That is why we always support a dialogue with business” – emphasized Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

According to Chairman of the STS, successful functioning of honest entrepreneurship in Ukraine directly depends on equal conditions for all market participants and this can be realized only in close cooperation between the state and business.

At present the STS takes a number of measures to destroy tax evasion schemes. Particularly in June 2020, there are ongoing intensified control measures on the excisable product market. Herewith, Chairman of the STS is convinced that effectiveness of such measures depends on their support by business representatives who conduct transparent activity.

In total, the State Tax Service conducted 7.7 thousand audits of business entities involved in production and turnover of excisable products during 2020. According to their results, financial sanctions from the excise tax in the amount of 407.5 million UAH were additionally accrued to violators. Excisable products totaling 864 million UAH were seized from illegal turnover.
