Oleksiy Lyubchenko: it is necessary to reform the administrative processes and adjust structure to the processes

Structural reformation of the State Tax Service should be stopped. This must be done for the stability of its work. This was stated by the Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko in an interview with “LIGA”.

“Constant reformation is not a panacea. The tax authorities of Ukraine have changed the title three times in the last seven years: the Ministry of Revenue, the State Fiscal Service and now the State Tax Service. What does this mean in practice: 50 thousand people constantly move from department to department, endlessly move from building to building and transfer cases to each other. I think that this is a catastrophe and, by the way in this sense, the President agreed with me.” – emphasized Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

Chairman of the STS is convinced that it is necessary to reform the administration processes and adjust structure to the processes. The State Tax Service has already been established and should work in the structural form which it currently has.

“There are enough mechanisms to improve indicators. Of course, these will be temporary measures, but first I will stabilize the situation, and then I will deal with radical changes.” – outlined Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

According to him, such radical changes are: firstly – the reduction in the value added tax rate to 16%, the possibility of which has been discussed since 2000 and secondly – the fiscalization without which it is impossible to solve the problem of scrolls.

Oleksiy Lyubchenko thinks that lowering the VAT rate will make the tax evasion less profitable and unprofitable for business.
