Saving both the system and people is my main task at the STS – Oleksiy Lyubchenko

Ukraine has a unique system of the VAT administration which raises interest of the European taxpayers. This was stated by the Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko in an interview with “Censor.Net”.

According to him, all countries have the VAT overuse schemes. If there were no fictitious VAT in the world, there would be no need to create controlling bodies.

“The only question is whether the controlling body is “in the subject” or “in the subject” and “in the share”, or just “in the share”? He also told that the Security Service of Ukraine has established the facts of attempts to erase traces of the VAT overuse in the STS’s servers.

“Our specialists were undergoing blaming in such way that they were not authoritative in the evidence base and their opinion was not taken into account by the investigation. It was the -attempts to make them guilty. We took and presented argumentations. My task was to save the system, to save people. I would not have survived even a month in a system that is not loaded by specialists around whom the process revolves and who know this process perfectly” – noted Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

Chairman of the STS emphasized that the system is based on professional people who also have high moral qualities.

According to him, the electronic VAT is essentially a global system of the inter-sectoral balance. If it is used properly, then it is possible to predict the economy and investment development of the country. And this is the STS’s development.
