Activity of a network of draft beer shops that operated without RCO and licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages was exposed

State Tax Service of Ukraine constantly monitors and analyzes economic activities of business entities that sell excisable products.

According to the results of audits of trade establishments in one of the central regions of Ukraine conducted by the State Tax Service, a network of shops carrying sale of draft beer was found, namely 25 objects.

These trade facilities illegally sold excisable products without the use of registrars of calculated operations registered at the STS bodies and without licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages.

Based on the identified facts of illegal activity, the State Tax Service instructed regional Main Directorate to analyze activity of certain facilities and carry out appropriate control and audit measures.

As a result of joint measures of the State Tax Service and the State Fiscal Service, it was exposed and identified that citizen B was involved in illegal activities through the specified network of draft beer shops, without declaring received income and without paying taxes to the budget. As a result of such actions, the budget did not receive more than 7.5 million UAH.

According to the processing results of received information, the SFS opened a criminal case, within the framework of which there were 25 authorized searches conducted at places of illegal trade; cash was seized in the amount of 2019.8 thousand UAH, as well as inventory, documents, lease agreements, warehouse notebooks, draft records and bank cards.

As an intermediate result of taken measures, the number of 22 registrars of calculated operations was registered at the addresses of network’s draft beer shops and 42 applications for the relevant licenses were submitted.
