, published 13 November 2020 at 19:18

State Tax Service is actively working on the digitalization of services. As of today, there is an ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and other executive bodies in providing quality services to citizens and business entities, ensuring easy and affordable payment of taxes. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the STS for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Natalia Kalenichenko during the discussion on “Reforming the State Tax Service through the prism of integrity of tax specialists and taxpayers”.

According to her, the STS has already implemented such services as E-malyatko and ID-14 that allow to quickly register a child and digital tax number. Also, services allow business entities to get all their available data from the government agencies through the portal “Diya”.

“The next step, which we plan to implement, is aimed at full digitalization of relationship between the state and business. These are the main projects such as E-residency, E-licenses and E-excise. Given that the Tax service has a fairly large range of users of electronic services, we even changed their name from the “taxpayers” to “users of tax services”. In 2020, the number of such users has grown significantly – from 3.3 million to 3.4 million. Our vision is an electronic Tax service that will be open, comfortable and most importantly available online.”– stated Natalia Kalenichenko.

Today, the State Tax Service receives and processes up to 200 documents per second, all processes are maximally automated for business. In just 10 months of this year, the number of electronic documents received by the STS increased by 87 million comparing to the same period in 2019.

State Tax Service also provides the largest number of administrative services in the country. During this year, their number increased by 20. In total, taxpayers can receive 126 administrative services. At the same time, the number of visitors of the Taxpayer Service Centers is constantly decreasing.

“We are constantly trying to improve our services and work. In order to understand business needs, we conduct the taxpayers’ survey. One of these is currently underway, and the first results showed that 62% of surveyed taxpayers want to communicate with the STS in electronic form, remotely, without visiting. This is a clear example and the result of automation of all processes at the STS and its bodies” – stated Natalia Kalenichenko.

The “InfoTAX” service was also launched for the taxpayers’ convenience, using which more than 3500 taxpayers have already used the opportunity to receive all their data available from the State Tax Service via the Telegram channel or Viber.
