Digitalization of the STS and its bodies, development of electronic services, provision of electronic trust services are, first of all, easy way of paying taxes and at the same time high-quality performance of duties by the STS and its bodies. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the STS for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Natalia Kalenichenko during meeting of the STS Board.

According to her, the taxpayers actively use tax services. Specifically as of today the number of users of Electronic Cabinet has already reached 2.4 million. Of these, 550 thousand users are legal entities; 1.3 million users are individuals – entrepreneurs and 620 thousand – citizens.

“Despite the relatively high number of users, we strive to achieve 100% use of electronic services by the taxpayers. Need to implement this plan is confirmed by the results of a survey conducted via the Telegram channel. 62% of our taxpayers want to communicate with the STS and its bodies online” – stated Natalia Kalenichenko.

Following services for the taxpayers are implemented in Electronic Cabinet, namely – E-registers, E-systems, E-services and E-payments. The most popular are E-registers, fiscal check search, excise tax mark search, E-services and tax reporting.

The most active users of electronic tax services are the taxpayers, whose sphere of activity includes computer programming, retail trade in non-specialized stores, mainly food, beverages and tobacco products, rental and operation of own or leased real estate, other retail stores in non-specialized stores etc.

With the increase in number of users of electronic services, at the same time there is a decrease in the taxpayers’ visits to Taxpayer Service Centers. Number of administrative services provided by the TSC has decreased by 500 thousand comparing to 2019. In total, the STS provides 126 types of administrative services which is the largest indicator among the executive authorities.

Important project currently being implemented by the STS is software registrars of calculated operations.

“Software RCO is a rather big task that the tax authorities face today. This project has a very big future, because the software RCO can implement quite large and interesting cases for both citizens and taxpayers. To date, 3 thousand taxpayers have registered almost 50 thousand SRCO. The number of fiscal checks has already reached more than 75 million” – specified Natalia Kalenichenko.

According to her, E-reimbursement and E-invoice are also important cases. Specifically, the E- reimbursement service provides an opportunity for taxpayers to remotely submit (through the E-cabinet) applications for reimbursement. It has already been used by 249 thousand taxpayers.

The E-account should be operational from the 1st of January 2021, using which the taxpayers will be able to pay taxes, fees and single contribution to a single account opened in the Treasury.

“We do not stop. We plan to introduce E-excise, E-invoice, E-administrative services. That is, a digitalized STS with the maximum number of electronic services is our priority.” – stated Natalia Kalenichenko.
