Oleksiy Lyubchenko: STS will always support honest business

Chairman of the STS Oleksiy Lyubchenko participated in celebrations on the occasion of awarding winners of rating “Honest Taxpayers” that were held online at the initiative of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine”. Honorary participants of event were also the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko, the President of Association Grigol Katamadze, the President of Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Anatoliy Kinakh and the winners of rating.

“State Tax Service is always open to partnership with taxpayers. We improve our work taking into account needs of business, launching new services that the business environment expects from us. Cooperation with business associations, with which we jointly find ways to resolve disputes, has reached a new level. State Tax Service will always support honest business. It’s good that due to the rating of honest taxpayers we are able to thank honest business for taxes and financial development of the country” – emphasized Oleksiy Lyubchenko.

Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko emphasized importance of supporting honest business. After all, both honest tax-paying business and the country’s economy suffer from tax evasion schemes. And now results of ensuring budget revenues indicate the creation of appropriate conditions for honest business. According to him, the increase in tax revenues was achieved without any pressure on business but by minimizing tax evasion schemes and improving administrative processes.

Rating of honest taxpayers is conducted annually at the initiative of “Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine”. Enterprises are evaluated according to such criteria as completeness and timeliness of tax payments, compliance with tax discipline, amount of average monthly salary at the enterprise, number of officially employed persons, amount spent on social programs and charities, etc.

This year the winners were 40 representatives of large, medium and small business. Winners were chosen in the following categories: “Industry”, “Culture”, “Information and Telecommunications”, “Agricultural Sector”, “Pharmaceuticals”, “Trade”, “Science” and others.

Rating of honest taxpayers has been conducted since 2011.
