Employee of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region was offered a bribe of 10 thousand USD

Female-citizen of Ukraine who offered a bribe to employee of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region is detained.

This female-citizen, who introduced herself as an accountant of one LLC, offered an illegal benefit to employee of the Tax service for a positive decision regarding issue of excluding the LLC from the list of taxpayers who meet the risk criteria of business entities.

Employee of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region reported to the Corruption Prevention and Detection Department of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region about the offer of illegal benefit.

Within the framework of criminal proceeding brought on the application of employee of the Tax service about receipt of offer concerning a bribe, Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region jointly with operatives of K department of the Security Service of Ukraine detained so-called “accountant” at a transfer of illegal benefit in the amount of 10 thousand USD.

Such actions of the tax employee are an example of the principled position of the State Tax Service on intolerance towards corruption.
