Income declaration campaign for 2020 has been ongoing since the beginning of 2021.

Citizens of Ukraine submitted 13 thousand property and income declarations and declared income received in 2020 for a total amount of 2.8 billion UAH in January 2021. Amount of personal income tax, independently determined for payment, is 90 million UAH. Amount of military levy is 12.7 million UAH.

Residents of Kirovohrad region and Kyiv city are the most active in declaring income – they have submitted 1.4 thousand declarations each.

The biggest share in the structure of declared taxable income falls on income received in the form of inheritance (gifts), namely 446 million UAH, other income – 462 million UAH and foreign income – 124 million UAH.

Income totaling more than 1 million UAH was declared by 336 people. The biggest amounts of taxable income and tax liabilities are determined in declarations of residents of Poltava and Sumy regions: from foreign income and income from the sale of investment assets they declared to pay almost 10 million UAH.

As of today, the STS focuses its efforts on creating the most convenient conditions for citizens to declare income – from a set of information services to partial auto-completion of declaration in the Electronic Cabinet.

Reminder! Citizens and individuals who carry out independent professional activity have a right to submit declaration for 2020 by May 1, 2021. The last day for submitting the declaration is April 30, 2021. Tax liabilities specified by such individuals in declarations must be paid by August 2, 2021 (inclusively).
