Embezzlement of budgetary funds totaling almost 89 million UAH was exposed

Tax specialists of Donetsk region exposed facts of financial damage to the state-owned enterprises totaling 88.9 million UAH.

Specialists of the Anti-money laundering department of Main Directorate of the STS in Donetsk region detected operation of scheme for the supply of electricity to the state-owned enterprises from a number of companies that did not have ability to generate electricity in the declared volumes.

Embezzlement of budgetary funds due to the use of this scheme totaling 88.9 million UAH was exposed in the course of analytical research.

These materials are attached to the criminal proceeding under Part 3 Article 191 of the Criminal code of Ukraine. Pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
