Oleksiy Lyubchenko: STS is ready to ensure effective cooperation with the newly established Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine

Today, the President of Ukraine signed the Law “On the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine”, which is an important step to strengthen protection of economic interests of the state and honest business.

“We constantly hear from business about insecurity from the arbitrariness of various state power structures. At the same time, there are well-established shadow economic associations in the country, which have already become real criminal groups in the economic sphere.” – stated Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko. 

According to Chairman of the STS Oleksiy Lyubchenko, creation of the Bureau of Economic Security in the form, with tasks and powers provided by the law will protect business from unjustified interference in its activities, while the state law enforcement system will focus on effectively combating organized illegal activities in the economic sphere, as well as exposing and attracting responsibilities of individuals who lead such activities.

“For its part, the State Tax Service of Ukraine intends to ensure effective cooperation with the newly created law enforcement analytical body to reduce shadow sector of economy and eliminate unfair competition that hinders the work of honest taxpayers.” – emphasized Chairman of the STS Oleksiy Lyubchenko.
