Acting Chairman of the STS Yevhen Oleinikov held a meeting with representatives of the European Business Association within the Communication Tax Platform.
Participants discussed systemic issues in the segment of registration suspension of the tax invoices.
According to acting Chairman of the STS Yevhen Oleinikov, as of today the automated monitoring system stops registration of only 0.5% of tax invoices. In this case, the taxpayers have right to confirm the reality of such operations.
“There is a procedure for appealing registration suspension of the tax invoices. Such complaints are considered by the STS promptly, specifically up to 25 days. Taxpayer proves the reality of operations and the commission makes a decision. I advise those companies whose invoices have been suspended to use normatively defined mechanisms to defend their interests. Tax service is interested in the prompt resolution of issue in order for the taxpayer to receive working capital for his / her activities and therefore pay taxes to the budget on time and in full.” – emphasized Yevhen Oleinikov.
He once again noted that the presence of company’s risk signs is not a ban on further registration of tax invoices. On the contrary, the meaning of such mechanism is that the Tax service has opportunity to analyze operations of such taxpayer in more details and not a ban on operations at all.
Yevhen Oleinikov also emphasized that the STS is always open to dialogue and ready to provide advice to the taxpayers if necessary.
Participants of the meeting considered the general practice of resolving disputes and agreed on further cooperation in resolving unresolved issues.
