Meeting of the working group on development of the competency model was held at the STS

STS takes measures to implement effective HR policy. Representatives of the STS with experts of the Public Financial Management Support Program for Ukraine – the EU4PFM held a meeting of the STS’s working group on development of the competency model.

Purpose of developing the competency model for each position, its format and requirements, deadlines for suggestions were discussed during the meeting.

Specifically, it was stated that the development result should be the formed profiles of competencies for each position, namely: description and working conditions, education, special knowledge, skills and work experience that must be possessed by the employee who will hold a certain position.

The use of such models will allow for high-quality selection of staff for positions taking into account compliance with certain competencies. This, in turn, will help to maximize a potential of each employee to perform their duties.
