IDES issues E-mail notifications via unsecured E-mail in plain text which contain information about transmission processing in the IDES system.
ICMM notifications is a “transfer” file archive that contains encrypted documents sent from the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to a foreign financial institution (FFI) or the competent tax authority of a participating country (HCTA) in response to the FATCA Report submitted according to the Intergovernmental Model the XML FATCA.
