Illegal misappropriation of local budgetary funds was exposed

Employees of the Anti-money laundering department of Main Directorate of the STS in Cherkasy region exposed illegal misappropriation of local budgetary funds totaling 6.3 million UAH.

Violators artificially changed the tax regime, which led to an overstatement of price of landscaping services and the misappropriation of local budgetary funds.

Investigative actions are currently ongoing within a pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceeding under Part 3 Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
