Legalization of illegally extracted crude oil and products of its processing was exposed

Employees of Main Directorate of the STS in Sumy region in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine in Sumy region exposed legalization of oil products produced from illegally extracted raw materials on the territory of Ukraine.

Introduction into circulation and sale of oil products obtained as a result of processing illegally extracted crude oil with a total cost of 74 million UAH to subjects of the real sector of economy was established.

Further investigative actions are currently ongoing within a pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceeding under Part 2 Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
