Tetiana Kirienko: We are grateful to our Polish colleagues for their effective cooperation and support

Acting Chairman of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kirienko had a meeting with the First Counselor of Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine (customs and fiscal issues), representative of the National Tax Administration of the Republic of Poland Bartosz Hruszecki devoted to topical issues of bilateral relations and peculiarities of cooperation during the martial law.

“We are grateful to countries of the European Union, especially to our Polish colleagues and friends who became Ukraine’s most loyal allies during the war for their effective cooperation and humanitarian aid. Our cooperation has now reached a qualitatively new level. Your support inspires Ukrainians in the fight against Russian aggression and brings us closer to victory” – stated Tetiana Kirienko.

Poland is currently one of Ukraine’s main partners. It provides support to Ukrainian citizens living in Poland, actively participates in development of Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction plan and provides humanitarian, political and diplomatic support.

As of today, cooperation between tax authorities of Ukraine and Poland has been established, as well as effective exchange of tax information.

According to acting Chairman of the STS Tetiana Kirienko, the State Tax Service, in the pre-war period together with Polish tax experts, developed projects for bilateral cooperation between tax services in the tax administration areas, information technology and the counteraction against tax evasion. Achievements in these areas are of particular importance today and development of this segment will continue after the war.
