Contact center of the STS has provided answers to 71.5 thousand taxpayers’ appeals since the beginning of martial law

Contact Center of the STS continues to provide information and reference services to taxpayers during the martial law. Contact Center of the STS has provided answers to 71.5 thousand appeals of individuals and legal entities since the beginning of martial law. Of the total number of appeals: 63.5 thousand were answered by telephone, 8 thousand by chat in messengers.

Most often, the taxpayers applied for information regarding single contribution to obligatory state social insurance, personal income tax, value added tax, single tax and usage of registrars of settlement operations.

Business entities and citizens also have opportunity to use the Knowledge Base – an automated database of unified answers to questions from individuals and legal entities. It is posted on the official web portal of the STS in section “Questions – answers from the Knowledge Base” of the Public information and reference resource (ZIR).

Section “Questions and Answers from the Knowledge Base” is constantly updated, as well as information in Section “Recent changes in legislation”; convenient format of Tax Calendar with updated information helps taxpayers to timely submit reports and pay taxes.

Specifically during the martial law, more than 200 questions and answers were processed and placed in the Knowledge Base, to which more than 20 thousand payers applied; 18 normative legal acts were updated (placed), etc.

During the martial law, information and reference services can be obtained through the Contact Center from 09.00 to 17.00 (except for Sundays):

- by phone 0 800 501 007. Citizens who are outside Ukraine have opportunity to call the Contact Center from a landline or mobile phone: +380 44 454 16 13;

- via chat in messengers, which can be accessed from the web portal of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, in section “Public information and reference resource” https://tax.gov.ua/ or from site of the Public information and reference resource (abbreviated ZIR) https://zir.tax.gov.ua/ or its mobile version. 

Due to the limited work of the STS’s territorial bodies during the martial law, services of the STS’s Contact Center are in a demand of society and help business entities and citizens to understand online taxation peculiarities during the martial law, state of emergency. Consumers of goods (services) have opportunity to report about violations in the retail sale through the Contact Center of the State Tax Service.
