State Tax Service is open for dialogue with business. At every opportunity, the Service joins initiatives of public organizations, business associations and Council of the Business Ombudsman, purpose of which is to resolve topical issues in the taxation sphere. This was stated by acting Chairman of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kirienko during a round table meeting organized by the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Ukraine (abb. USPP).

Topic of the meeting was tax innovations introduced during the martial law.

According to Tetiana Kirienko, work of the State Tax Service is aimed at supporting and restoring business, as well as strengthening and ensuring economic stability of the state during the martial law.

State Tax Service from the first days of war provided clarifications regarding legislative changes in taxation as quickly as possible in order to adapt taxpayers to work in wartime as soon as possible.

In each region of Ukraine there are “hot lines”, which provide advices to the taxpayers.

Economic stability of our country depends primarily on the taxpayers, who continue to work today.

“Our task is to create comfortable conditions for taxpayers in the tax administration sphere, timely information regarding legislative initiatives in taxation. Society is grateful to the taxpayers who, despite the circumstances, resume their activities and pay taxes honestly. Budget revenues in the amount of 294 billion UAH were ensured for the four months of this year. We are currently fulfilling indicative targets that were determined by the Ministry of Finance in the peacetime and we thank the payers for this.” – emphasized acting Chairman of the State Tax Service.

Initiatives to renew the VAT reimbursement and register tax invoices became subjects of the round table discussion.

Representatives of the USPP, in turn, praised legislative innovations introduced during the martial law, which allow entrepreneurs to work and support the state’s economy.

In the end, Tetiana Kirienko thanked the USPP for invitation and emphasized that such meetings are one of the formats of operational and effective cooperation.

“State Tax Service is ready for further cooperation with public organizations and business on the development of balanced suggestion for legislative changes both for the state and for business” – outlined Tetiana Kirienko.
