Almost 19 thousand bottles of alcohol products were seized in Zhytomyr region

Illegal storage of alcoholic beverages without documents confirming accounting and origin of products was detected by employees of the Excisable Product Control Department of Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Zhytomyr region with involvement of the Security Service of Ukraine and Main Directorate of the National Police in Zhytomyr region.

Business entity, registered in Kyiv city, stored alcoholic beverages without necessary permission in violation of requirements of the Tax Code of Ukraine at warehouses in Zhytomyr city.

During the audit activities at the storage place of alcoholic beverages, the number of 18841 alcoholic beverages was found and seized.

Currently, criminal proceeding has been instituted under Part 1 Article 199 of the Criminal code of Ukraine.

Investigative actions are ongoing.
