Tetiana Kirienko took part in the ninth meeting of the EU4PFM Steering Committee

Acting Chairman of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kirienko took part in the ninth meeting of the Steering Committee of the EU4PFM project.

Participants of the event are representatives of the EU4PFM project, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and executive authorities discussed main results of the project and expectations of the Ukrainian side from further implementation of the Programme to support management of public finances in Ukraine.

Tetiana Kirienko particularly noted effectiveness of work within the framework of project, which made it possible, even in wartime, not only to preserve achievements of the pre-war times, but also to start development of new software products.

“We thank the project for opportunity to preserve our national team of experts, which became a great help for us. At the same time, we expect completion of measures defined in the previous plans. In particular, support for harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with the EU norms in the context of Ukraine's further integration into the European Union” – stated Tetiana Kirienko.

According to her, it is also important to update the IT strategy and adapt it to the war conditions and the European integration course of Ukraine. In turn, the State Tax Service will make every possible effort to successfully implement joint projects with the EU4PFM. State Tax Service also expects for the renewal of projects in the electronic audit and transfer pricing spheres, which, in particular, will contribute to the fulfillment of Ukraine's obligations under international agreements.

Participants of the meeting agreed on further cooperation within the framework of project, which will allow to implement European standards in the public finance management system in Ukraine.
