Representatives of the State Tax Service and the Business Ombudsman Council discussed formats of further cooperation

Today, representatives of the State Tax Service and the Business Ombudsman Council discussed directions for further cooperation in solving tax issues with which taxpayers appeal to the Business Ombudsman Council.

Productive activities that were carried out by the State Tax Service jointly with the Council in 2022 were noted during the meeting. Positive feedback was received from the business regarding joint webinars on tax topics held in May – June.

Effective communication with the Board of the Business Ombudsman Council also provides opportunity for tax officials to practice those areas of administration that require more attention.

In turn, representatives of the Council noted readiness of the State Tax Service for further cooperation in various formats. Participants discussed separate issues regarding operation of an automated monitoring compliance system of tax invoices/adjustment calculations with criteria for assessing degree of risks, execution of court decisions, etc.

Based on the event results, it was decided to introduce regular meetings of representatives of the State Tax Service and the Business Ombudsman Council for prompt consideration of business applications within a framework of the Communication Tax Platform.
