Reforms are ongoing: STS and the EU4PFM continue cooperation

Team of the State Tax Service headed by acting Chairman Tetiana Kirienko, as a part of the government delegation with representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the State Customs Service of Ukraine, is on a working visit to the Republic of Lithuania.

As a part of program of the visit, Ukrainian tax officials took part in meeting of the Supervisory Committee of the EU4PFM project.

Ukrainian side, during the event, defined main priorities in terms of tax policy and tax administration. In particular, it was about successful implementation of started projects, including international automatic tax information exchange, automation of process of handling complaints and court support, modernization of the Contact Center, as well as implementation of the e-audit project, software in the transfer pricing control, strategy compliance and the IT strategy, etc.

“The medium-term priorities of the STS’s work are primarily determined by the Ukrainian development vector – Ukraine's aspiration to join the EU and are also included in the Recovery Plan of Ukraine. The main efforts, among other things, will be focused on the practical implementation of the EU directives, other EU requirements, the OECD standards, improving quality of service to taxpayers” – stated acting Chairman of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kirienko.
