Representatives of the State Tax Service took part in seminar on the practical application of decisions of the EU Court in consideration of tax disputes

Second seminar on the practical application of decisions of the Court of Justice during consideration of tax disputes was held for representatives of the Ministry of Finance and State Tax Service.

This time, the EU4PFM international experts presented the following to participants:

IT solutions that simplify processes of tax disputes;

peculiarities of alternative resolution of tax disputes;

main decisions of the European Court in taxation of the VAT and excise tax;

national practice of applying decisions of the EU Court in the indirect taxes.

In particular, participants learned about the key principles applied in practice of assessing tax situations, main categories and the most common disputes between individuals and legal entities during 2020-2023 regarding the VAT and excise duties in the European countries.

Workshop was held with support of the EU4PFM and is aimed at helping taxpayers use acquired experience in practice as a part of Ukraine's preparation for the EU accession.
