State Tax Service has processed 647 requests for obtaining public information since the beginning of 2023

State Tax Service of Ukraine has processed 647 requests for public information over January – April 2023.

Of the total number, 64 requests were received by mail, 569 by e-mail and 14 by the requester personally.

The biggest number of requests for obtaining public information came from individuals, namely 356 requests. Since the beginning of year, 277 requests for public information have been received from legal entities, 2 from citizen associations without the legal entity’s status, and 12 from mass media representatives.

According to the consideration results of requests: 358 were provided with provision of information, refused/delayed according to Article 22 of the Law of Ukraine № 2939-VI as of 13.01.2011 "On access to public information" – 141 and 133 were sent to appropriate information managers.

The vast majority of inquirers were interested in tax information, namely 83.9% from the total number of requests.
