Tax authorities of Ukraine and France continue to cooperate on the exchange of successful practices

Work of the State Tax Service during the war, cyber security and crisis management measures of the Tax Service were presented this time by the acting Head of the State Tax Service in the framework of cooperation with French colleagues. This is not the first meeting with French representatives. This online presentation was made at request of the Director General of the General Directorate of Public Finance of the French Republic Jerome Fournel. After all, Europeans consider Ukrainian experience of effective work of a state body in crisis conditions to be extremely useful. About 200 representatives of regional divisions of the French tax department also heard about positive practices in functioning of the State Tax Service during the martial law, development of the Service, despite challenges of today and stability in work.

“Tax system is one of the key components of the country's economy. Problems in this area need to be quickly resolved, because otherwise they slow down development of the state and disrupt economic capacity. Therefore, despite the difficult situation, acute issues that have arisen and stressful working conditions, the State Tax Service continues not only to perform the specified tasks, but also to reform and develop” – stated acting Head of the State Tax Service Tetiana Kiriienko.

During the event, reforms, successfully implemented projects, directions of digitalization, cases of communication with taxpayers, implemented since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation on the territory of Ukraine, were also presented. This once again confirms that unity, strength and support of partners allows not only to overcome enemy at the front, to hold the rear, but also to develop and improve.

Parties, during the meeting, also once again emphasized importance of continuing cooperation in previously defined areas.
