Registration of labor relations is image of a socially responsible company

State Tax Service of Ukraine reminds of the need for business entities to register labor relations with employees.

It is profitable to work under employment contract! Labor legislation guarantees employees healthy and safe working conditions, paid holidays and sick leave. Undeclared employees are deprived of all this.

From the moment of signing employment contract, employee is employee who has labor rights and social guarantees, namely:

- decent and safe working conditions;

- standard working hours;

- paid and unpaid vacations;

- regular payment of salary not lower than the minimum;

- opportunity to study and improve qualifications;

- protection against illegal dismissal;

- insurance payments in case of incapacity;

- benefits for minors;

- additional social guarantees for women and employees with children;

- protection of rights, etc.

Registration procedure of labor relations with employees is the same for all employers. It includes three main steps:

- concluding employment contract;

- drawing up order on employment;

- notification of the State Tax Service.

Timely registration of labor relations is a guarantee of financial stability of the business. In addition, financial risks and consequences of using undeclared labor significantly exceed costs that arise in case of registering labor relations with employees according to the law.

At the same time, the State Tax Service continues to receive information from citizens regarding possible facts of non-registration of labor relations between business entities and employees.

Only 66 appeals from citizens containing information on 146 facts of non-registration of labor relations were received at address of central apparatus of the State Tax Service in 2023.

State Tax Service of Ukraine reminds citizens of the possibility at any time of the day, 24/7 and in any place to notify the tax service through the "StopViolationBot" chatbot in Telegram messenger about known facts of legislative violations, including use by the business entity of employees without official registration of labor relations.
