Changes to Procedure for evaluating results of the civil servants' service activities have been made

Pursuant to requirements of Article 44 of the Law of Ukraine № 889-VIII "On civil service" as of 10.12.2015 (with changes), Procedure for evaluating results of the civil servants' service activities, approved by Resolution № 640 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of 23.08.2017 (hereinafter – Procedure), it should be informed that Resolution № 949 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of 05.09.2023 "On amendments to Procedure for evaluating results of the civil servants' service activities" made changes to Procedure.

Document was prepared by the National Agency on Civil Service with aim of reducing burden on participants of procedure for evaluating results of the civil servants' service activities.

Main provisions of changes:

circumstances under which determination of results of tasks is not carried out (the assessment is not carried out if the civil servant is absent from work for seven consecutive months) have been clarified and added;

procedure for performing tasks by state secretaries of ministries and conditions for determining tasks for heads of the Central Executive Bodies have been clarified;

person, who prepares individual professional development program for state secretaries of ministries has been determined.

Please note that determination of results of tasks is carried out if, on the date of adoption of order on the determination of results of tasks, civil servant has been working with the specified tasks for at least three months from the date of determination of tasks.

Next stage of evaluation procedure in 2023, in particular, determination of results of tasks, will begin in October of this year.
